ACMGAS305A - Rescue Animals And Apply First Aid

WIRES have partnered with the RSPCA (RTO number 70238) to provide nationally recognised training accepted by the industry and other educational institutions.

WIRES Rescue and Immediate Care Course (RICC) is WIRES compulsory course for new volunteers. The course is made up of a mandatory online component and workshop which must be completed to begin rescuing and caring for wildlife with WIRES.

If participants choose to complete an optional Practical Skills Field Assessment, they can receive accreditation for the unit of competency ACMGAS305A – Rescue animals and apply basic first aid.
